NEW CARLISLE - Services for Raymond Riehm, 84, of 7892 E. South Hudson Ave., who died at 6:30 p.m. Tuesday in Michiana Community Hospital, South Bend, will be at 11 a.m. (central time) Saturday in St. John Kanty Catholic Church, Rolling Prairie. Burial will be in St. John Kanty Cemetery with graveside services conducted by Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 1130. Friends may call from 3 to 5 and 6 to 8 p.m. central time Friday in Cutler Funeral Home, LaPorte.

Mr. Riehm retired from Vaughan's Seed Co., Chicago, after 42 years of service. He was born June 13, 1909, in Chicago, and lived at Hudson Lake for 23 years, coming from Chicago.

On July 13, 1946, in Chicago, he married Sarah Shirley Mannina. She survives, with a son, Richard of New Carlisle; two grandchildren; and a sister, Helen Garner of Crete, Ill. He was a member of Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 1130, Rolling Prairie Golden Agers, LaPorte Seniors Bowling League and Riehm Family Association. He was a veteran of World War II.
