Lilliam Rose Riege, 74, of Maple Street, Edwardsburg, Mich., died Saturday, Nov. 23, 1996, at 7:50 p.m. in Dowagiac Nursing Home, after a long illness.

Lillian was born Oct. 17, 1922, in South Bend, to Robert and Rose Benjamin. She was a homemaker and had lived in the Edwardsburg area for 30 years. As Lillian R. Benjamin, she married Leo Walter Riege in 1941, in South Bend. Leo survives along with three daughters, Pamela Riege and Patricia Radics, both of Cassopolis and Deborah Warner of Sisters Lake; two sons, Steve Riege of Cassopolis and Jerome Riege of St. Joseph; 15 grandchildren; 34 great-grandchildren; one sister, Virginia Taylor of South Bend and three brothers, Jack Benjamin and John Benjamin both of South Bend and Dean Benjamin of Mishawaka.

Services will be Tuesday, Nov. 26, at 11 a.m. in the mausoleum chapel in Fairview Cemetery, 1415 N. Main St., Mishawaka. Rev. Wayne Tone will officiate. There will be no visitation. Bubb Funeral Chapel North, 3910 N. Main St., Mishawaka, is handling arrangements. Memorial contributions may be made to donor's choice.
