Jack R. Rieffel

Jack R. Rieffel, 67, of Osage Lake Drive, Mishawaka, Ind., passed away at 3 p.m. on Wednesday, Nov. 24, in St. Joseph Community Hospital Emergency Room.
Jack was born on Oct. 31, 1932, in Mishawaka, to Robert and Lilas (Bickel) Rieffel, who both had preceded him in death. Jack was also preceded in death by two brothers, Robert Rieffel and Herbert Rieffel.
Mr. Rieffel is survived by two daughters, Danette (David) Freel of Osceola, Ind., and Peggy Rieffel of Elkhart, Ind.; three sons, Mark Rieffel of South Bend, Ind., Steve (Roxanne) Rieffel of Elkhart, and Randall Rieffel of West Lafayette, Ind.; three stepdaughters, Kathy Oliver of Granger, Ind., Nancy Bennett of South Bend, and Linda Hipshear of Elkhart; five grandchildren; eight step-grandchildren; and by a sister, Glennadine Weisweaver of Mishawaka.
Mr. Rieffel retired from the service department at NIPSCO in 1992 after 26 years. He was a member of California Road Missionary Church.
Friends may call on Sunday from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. in the Bubb Funeral Chapel North, 3910 N. Main St., Mishawaka.
Services will be at 2 p.m. on Monday in the California Road Missionary Church, 29765 County Road 12 West, Elkhart. Rev. Dale Turner will officiate. Burial will be in St. Joseph Valley Memorial Park, Granger, Ind.
