OSCEOLA - Charlie M. Rickert, 95, of 58781 Apple Road, died at 5:05 a.m. Friday in Brookhaven Nursing Center, Brookville, Ohio. Mr. Rickert retired as a farmer in 1967 after 50 years. He was born May 28, 1898, in Cass County, Mich., and lived in Osceola since 1925.

On Nov. 12, 1927, in Mishawaka, he married Donnabelle Walker. She died Oct. 22, 1992. Surviving are three sons, Robert C. and George A., both of Brookville, and Raymond E. of Terre Haute, Ind.; seven grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren. He was a member of the Farm Bureau since 1916 and the Osceola Cemetery Association.

Services will be at 10 a.m. Monday in Warner Funeral Home. Burial will be in Osceola Cemetery. Friends may call from 3 to 7 p.m. Sunday in the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made to Alzheimer's Foundation.
