MISHAWAKA - Sister M. Ewaldilla Richardt OSF, 94, of Our Lady of the Angels, St. Francis Convent, died at 2:40 p.m. Friday at the convent.

She was a registered nurse and X-ray technician at hospitals in Nebraska, Tennessee, Illinois and Indiana. Her last mission was at St. Margaret Mercy Health Care Center, Hammond. She retired to Our Lady of the Angels in 1982. She was born Hedwig Richardt on July 12, 1900, in Effelder, Germany, and came to the United States in September 1923 and to the convent on Sept. 26, 1923. She received her Franciscan habit on June 29, 1924.

Services will be at 10:30 a.m. Monday in St. Francis Convent Chapel. Burial will be in St. Francis Cemetery. A wake will be at 6:30 p.m. Sunday in Thallemer-Goethals Funeral Home. There will be no visitation.
