Mrs. Theodore Reiter: (South Bend Tribune 7/16/1965)

Mrs. Anna M. Reiter, 72, of 2210 S. Catalpa St., died at 8:30 p.m. Thursday in St. Joseph’s Hospital, after an extended illness. She was born Jan. 19, 1893 in South Bend. Her husband Theodore L. Reiter, died June 24, 1927. Her survivors include  three sons, Theodore A., and Robert E., of South Bend, and Bernard J. Reiter, of Mishawaka; a daughter, Mrs. Dorothy VanTornhout, South Bend; seven grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; four brothers, Casimer, Steven and Frank Starzynski, all of South Bend, and Alex Starzynski, of Fort Wayne, and a sister, Miss Rose Starzynski, South Bend. Friends may call after 3 p.m. Saturday at the Zahoran Funeral Home. Mrs. Reiter was a member of St. Ann’s Society of Our Lady of Hungary Church, which group will recite the rosary at 7 p.m. Sunday in the funeral home. She was a member of the American Legion Auxiliary, Post 272, and an auxiliary member of the Legion of Mary of Our Lady of Hungary Church.
