Mrs. Agnes Reiter: (South Bend Tribune 8/1/1967)

Mrs. Agnes M. Reiter, 81, of 2002 Swygart St., died at 5 a.m. today in St. Joseph’s Hospital after a long illness. She was born April 14, 1896. Her husband, Julius, died in 1939. Surviving are a son, Joseph of South Bend; five daughters, Mrs. Irene McFarren, Miss Henrietta Reiter, Mrs. Harriet Podemski, Mrs. Jerry Crothers and Mrs. Loretta Ritschard, all of South Bend; 21 grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; a brother, Vincent Kowalewski of South Bend; and three sisters, Ms. Kate Nodolny, Mrs. Lillian Ewald and Mrs. Myrtle Maciejewski, all of South Bend. Friends may call after 7 p.m. Wednesday in the St. Joseph Funeral Home. Services will be at 9 a.m. Friday in St. Hedwig’s Church, with Rev. John Jakubielski officiating. Burial will be in St. Joseph Cemetery. Rosaries will be recited at 7:30 p.m. Wednesday and at 2 p.m. and 7:30 p.m. Thursday in the funeral home.
