Mrs. Andrew Reiner

July 11, 1899 – December 16, 1978

Mrs. Magdalena Reiner, 79, of 1625 S Magnolia, died at 8:30pm Saturday at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Joseph Peters, 1130 E Fairview, after an illness of six months.  Mrs. Reiner was a retired Dodge Manufacturing employee.

She was born July 11, 1899, in South Bend and lived here all her life.  As Magdalena Yandl, her first marriage was to John Vuckis, who died in 1928.  On July 10, 1930, in South Bend, she married Andrew Reiner, who survives.  Also surviving along with her daughter, are a granddaughter, Dawn Lukas of Dodge City KS, and two sisters, Mrs. John Horvath and Mrs. Edward Braniff, both of South Bend

Services will be at 9am Wednesday at St Mary of the Asumption Church with Rev. Thomas Lallak, pastor, officiating.  Burial will be in Cedar Grove Cemetery.

Friends may call from 2 to 9pm Tuesday at the Zahoran Funeral Home, where the parish rosary will be recited at 8:30pm.  Mrs. Reiner was a member of the Ladies Auxiliary of the American Legion Post No 272; the DFV German Club, Ladies Auxiliary and the Rosary and Altar Society of the church.
