Steven Max Reihl, 46, of West Brown Avenue, Mishawaka, Ind., passed away following a long illness in the Ironwood Health and Rehabilitation Center, South Bend, Ind. He was born in South Bend to Rex and Marion (Lutes) Reihl on Dec. 12, 1956.

He is survived by his mother, Marion Reihl of Mishawaka; his fiance, Janet Powers of South Bend; and by his brother and sisters, Rebecca (Becky) L. Shuey of Mishawaka, Jennifer L. Reihl of South Bend and Dee R. Reihl of Salt Lake City, Utah. Mr. Reihl was a member of the Mishawaka Moose and the South Bend Fraternal Order of Eagles. He was also a 1975 graduate of Penn High School.

Funeral services for Mr. Reihl will be held at 2 p.m. today in the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, 930 Park Place, Mishawaka. Friends will be received one hour prior to the services in the church today. Burial will follow the services at Fairview Cemetery, Mishawaka. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society or to the Diabetes Foundation.
