SOUTH BEND - Judith Ann Reid, 68, of South Bend, Indiana, passed away following a brief illness on Saturday, June 7, 2008, in the Saint Joseph Regional Medical Center of South Bend. Judy was born April 25, 1940, in Logansport, Indiana, to the late Charlie and Gladys (Lee) Fiedler.

On August 24, 1968, Judy married Mr. Douglas C. Reid in South Bend, Indiana. Douglas survives along with their children, Sean Reid and his wife, Kelly of Bristol, Indiana, and Leigh Miller and her husband, Evan of Indianapolis, Indiana. Also surviving are four grandchildren, Jeremy, Jared, Joshua and Sophia.

A time of calling will be held from 4-8 p.m. Thursday, June 12, 2008, in Chapel Hill Funeral Home, 10776 McKinley Highway, Osceola, Indiana. A memorial service will follow at 8:00 p.m. Thursday evening, and interment will take place at Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens, Osceola. Judy was a graduate of Grass Creek High School. She was employed for many years with First Source Bank, retiring in 1998, and also worked as a cashier for the Meijer's Store on Portage Avenue for the last 14 years. Judy was a member of Corpus Christi Catholic Church in South Bend, and in her spare time enjoyed sewing, making crafts, gardening, and traveling to Alaska and Hawaii with her husband. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Judy's name to the Indiana Chapter of the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society, 941 E. 86th - Suite 100, Indianapolis, IN 46240.
