Services for Brother Regis Regenburger
CSC, 87, who died Wednesday in Memorial Hospital, will be
held at 10:30 a.m. in St. Joseph Chapel of Holy Cross Brothers
Center. Burial will be in St. Joseph Cemetery at the Center.
Friends may call after 4 p.m. Friday at Brothers Center Chapel,
where a wake will be held at 7 p.m.
Brother Regenburger was born Dec. 19, 1899
in McKeesport, Pa.. He is survived by two sisters, Elizabeth Stake
on McKeesport, and Pauline of Pittsburgh, and several nieces and
nephews. He became a novice Aug. 15, 1934 and professed his final
vows in the Congregation of Holy Cross on Aug. 16, 1935. He
taught in Holy Cross Brothers Schools in Rolling Priarie,
Infianapolis, Evansville, Ind., Albany, N. Y., and Watertown N.
Y. He was principal of Cathredral High School in Indianaplois
from 1947 to 1953, and has been on the staff at Holy Cross
Brothers Center since 1973. Before entering the religious life he
was a draftsman for the Untied States Steel Corp.
