MISHAWAKA - Terri Redman, 40, of Wabash, Ind., formerly of Mishawaka, Ind., passed away at 11:47 a.m. in Parkview Hospital, Fort Wayne, Ind., on Saturday, Sept. 5, as the result of injuries sustained in an automobile accident in Wabash on Friday evening, Sept. 4.
On Oct. 4, 1980, in St. Monica Church, Mishawaka, Terri married Charles E. Redman, who preceded her in death on Friday evening, Sept. 4, also from injuries sustained in the automobile accident.
Terri was born in Mishawaka on June 10, 1958, to Frank and Theresa (Polito) Schimizzi of Mishawaka, who survive.
She is also survived by a sister and her husband, Mary Ellen and Tom Paesel of S. Chicago Heights, Ill.; a brother, Ned Schimizzi of Mishawaka; two nieces, Nicole and Elizabeth Schimizzi of Mishawaka; and by her paternal grandmother, Teresa Schimizzi of Osceola, Ind.
Terri was an Avon representative, part time bank employee and homemaker while living in the Wabash area.
Visitation will be from 2 to 8 p.m. on Tuesday in St. Monica Church, Mishawaka, where a Rosary will be recited at 2 p.m. and a wake service will be held at 7:30 p.m. in the church.
A funeral mass will be celebrated at 10 a.m. on Wednesday in the church with Fr. William Sullivan officiating. Interment will follow in St. Joseph Valley Memorial Park, Granger, Ind.
Memorial contributions may be made to the American Diabetes Association.
