Mary Ann Redinbo

Feb. 19, 1929 - June 16, 2007

SOUTH BEND - Mary Ann Frances (Osinski) Redinbo, 78, formerly of South Bend, passed away on Saturday, June 16, in Houston Hospice, Houston, TX.

Mary Ann was born in South Bend to the late Henry and Stella (Sikorski) Osinski. On May 13, 1950, she married Myron Redinbo in South Bend, who preceded her in death in 1998. She was also preceded in death by two of her children, Patricia and Michael, and by her grandchild, Jamie Barnes. She is survived by her daughter, Mary (Dean) Schoonaert of Houston, four grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.

Mary Ann was a member of St. Hedwig Catholic Church, ZB Falcons, Nest 80, Golden Cluster and the Grandmothers Club. She enjoyed visiting with her neighbors while she lived in South Bend. The Houston Hospice provided a serene and competent place that provided loving care for Mary Ann during her final weeks. We will always remember the time, experience and beautiful staff who cared for her.

Visitation will be from 4 to 7 p.m. today, June 21, in ST. JOSEPH FUNERAL HOME, 824 S. Mayflower Road, South Bend, where a Rosary will be prayed at 6 p.m. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Friday, June 22, at 10 a.m. in St. Hedwig Catholic Church, with calling one hour prior to the services in the church. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Houston Hospice, 1905 Holcomb Blvd., Houston, TX 77030.
