SOUTH BEND - Patricia A. Rector, 57, of South Pulaski Street, died at 4:25 p.m. Friday in St. Joseph Community Hospital, Mishawaka, after an illness. Mrs. Rector was an employee of the former Carlisle Nursing Home. She was born Oct. 3, 1938, in South Bend.

On Feb. 8, 1858, in Niles, she married Lyle E. Rector. He survives with six daughters, Cathy Carpenter Padilla of Odessa, Texas, Julie Rector Chapman, Alice Rector Chapman, Tammy Rector May and Sally Rector, all of South Bend, and Laura Rector Brabec of Granger; a son, Lyle E. II of South Bend; 20 grandchildren; and two brothers, Melvin Russell of South Bend and Earl Russell of Niles.

Services will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday in Halbritter Funeral Home, Niles. Burial will be in Silverbrook Cemetery, Niles. Friends may call from 6 to 8 p.m Tuesday in the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made to American Cancer Association.
