Sister Mary Michael CSC, supervisor of the Book Supply Store at St Mary’s College from 1949 to 1958, died Friday noon at Saint Mary’s Convent after an extended illness. She was born Mary Agnes Reardon in Detroit, Mich. in 1895 and was educated in Detroit. She entered the Sister of the Holy Cross in 1914, receiving the habit the same year. She made her profession of final vows in 1919. She taught in schools in Indiana and California before assuming the position at St. Mary’s. She retired from that position because of illness.

The requiem high mass will be conducted in the Church of Our Lady of Loretto at St. Mary’s Sunday and burial will be in Our Lady of Peace Cemetery on the campus. Friends may call at St. Mary’s Convent parlor.
