Jan. 16, 1959 - Feb. 27, 2010MISHAWAKA - Carla Reaney, 51, of Mishawaka, passed away Saturday morning in Memorial Hospital. She was born January 16, 1959, in South Bend, to the late Hoy and Mary (Bell) Henry, Sr. Also preceding her in death was a brother, Edwin Henry. Carla is survived by her husband, Lewis; son, Brandon E. Reaney, and fiancée, Ashley Picking of Mishawaka; two grandchildren, Kylee and Trevor; sisters, Roxanna McCartney (Patrick) of Fort Wayne and Linda Henry of South Bend; brother, Hoy Henry Jr. of Osceola; and numerous nieces and nephews. She worked for the law firm of Rosenberg Daly and Associates for seven years. Carla was a graduate of Washington High School in 1977. She loved her grandchildren and her K9 companions Sassy, Shadow, Sheba and Shiloh. Carla's motto was to have fun. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, March 3rd, in the Welsheimer Family Funeral Home, 521 N. William St. Visitation will be two hours prior to services.
