Frances L. Raymond

Frances L. Raymond, 94, residing at Cardinal Health and Rehabilitation Center, formerly of Knoblock Street, South Bend, passed away at 11 a.m. Sunday in the nursing center.
Mrs. Raymond was bom May 12, 1902 in Elkhart, Ind., to Myrtle (Johnson) and Vern Kemp, and had lived in South Bend since 1942, coming from Elkhart. On Aug. 2, 1920, in Iron Mountain, Mich., she married Elmer J. Anderson, who passed away on Nov. 23, 1957. Then on Sept. 7, 1961, in South Bend, she married Ted Raymond, who passed away on Jan. 30, 1974.
She is survived by two daughters, Vernagene (Robert) Lindgren of South Bend, and Norma Stemm of Elkhart; two sons, Robert (Nancy) Anderson of South Bend and Rodney (Barbara) Anderson of Mishawaka; 25 grandchildren; many great-grandchildren and several great-great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by two daughters, Betty Jean LaBelle and Ruth McCrery.
Private services will take place with burial to follow at
Rice Cemetery in Elkhart. Hollis-Orvis-Palmer Funeral Home, 2528 Mishawaka Ave., South Bend, is handling arrangements. Memorial contributions may be given to the American Heart Association or American Lung Association.
