SOUTH BEND - Terrence Beau Rans, 36, passed away in an auto
accident in Knoxville, TN. Terrence graduated from Clay High
School in 1991 and attended college at Purdue University. At the
time of his death, Terrence lived in Knoxville, Tennessee, where
he was furthering his career in the restaurant business. It was
his dream to own and operate his own restaurant and bar. Terrence
loved life and had many hobbies and passions, perhaps none
greater than watching his beloved Chicago Bears, while
accompanied with friends. In his short life, Terrence affected
many people in a positive way. He was a loyal and loving son,
brother and friend who was always ready to assist someone. He is
survived by his mother, Carolyn Welches of South Bend; his
father, Michael Rans of South Bend; his brother, E. Zackary Rans;
sister-in-law, Adriane Rans; nephews, Griffin and Tristan, and
niece, Jocelyn, all of Tampa, Florida. Whether we knew him by
Terrence or Beau, he will always be with us and we will love him
forever. Terrence had more to accomplish and more lives to touch
and he will be missed. A private family service is planned.
However, an Open House in his honor will be held at Simeri's Old
Town Tap, 1505 West Indiana Avenue, South Bend, on Saturday,
September 5th, from 1 to 4 p.m. For those who wish to do so,
please come and share your memories.
