Raymond A. Ranschaert, 66, of 1224
W. Ford St., died at 10:45am
Monday in St Joseph’s Hospital
after an illness of one week. He was
employed at Cass Hudson Co six years, retiring in March 1971.
He was born on March
22, 1906, in Westdorpe, Holland,
and had live here sixty-five years. On August
22, 1934, he married Mary G. Przybysz, who survives, along with a
daughter, Mrs. Judith Ciesolka of South Bend;
three grandchildren, and a brother, Alfred of South Bend. A son, Leroy, died on September
5, 1969.
Friends may cal from 7
to 9pm today and 2
to 9pm Wednesday in Kaniewski & Sons Funeral Home. Services will be conducted at 10am
Thursday in St Casimir’s Catholic Church.
Mass will be recited at 9am
Monday in the church by Rev. George H. Szymanowski, C.S.C., pastor. Burial will be in Highland
Cemetery.
Mr. Ranschaert was a member of
Local 364, Teamsters, and the Mruks Club, the Triple L. Club, and the Breezers
Club. He was also a member of the
Married Men’s Club and the Holy Name Society, whose members will recite a
combined rosary at 7:30pm Wednesday
in the funeral home.
