OBITUARY

Mrs. Prudence Ranschaert

January 18, 1880 - July 2, 1967

Mrs. Prudence Ranschaert, 87, of 520 S Pulaski St., died at 2am Sunday in St Joseph Hospital after an illness of one year.

She was born on January 18, 1880, in Holland and was married to Frederick Ranschaert, who died on November 30, 1949.

Surviving are two sons, Raymond and Alfred, both of South Bend; three grandchildren and tow great grandchildren; a brother, Alfred Buysse, of South Bend; and six sisters, Mrs. Magdaline Davidson, Mrs. Elodie Wulfaert, Mrs. Martha Van Wynsberghe, Mrs. Alma Lekens, all of South Bend, and Mrs. Augusta Rinard and Mrs. Bertha Van Hecke, both of Mishawaka.

Friends may call after 7pm today at the St Joseph's Funeral Home.  Services will be at 9am Wednesday at St Casimir's Catholic Church with Rev. George Szymanowski, pastor, officiating.  Burial will be in Highland Cemetery.  The rosary will be recited at 7:30pm today at the funeral home.  The combined societies of Holy Name and Married Men's Club will say the rosary at 7:30pm Tuesday in the funeral home.
