Maurice E. Ranschaert

September 29, 1932 – August 18, 1991

SOUTH BEND – Maurice E. Ranschaert, 58, of 2813 Locust Road, died of natural causes at 1:30am Sunday in his home.  Mr. Ranschaert was employed by Allied-Signal Corp., Mishawaka.

He was born September 29, 1932, in South Bend and was a lifelong area resident.  On June 4, 1955, in Providence RI, he married Phyllis Northrop.  She survives with two daughters, Diane Hanslits of Crown Point IN and Susan Yoder of South Bend; five grandchildren; his father, Maurice L. of South Bend; and a brother, Robert of South Bend.  He was a veteran on the Navy.

Services will be at 11am Wednesday at St Mary of the Assumption Catholic Church.  Burial will be in Riverview Cemetery.  Friends may call from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9pm Tuesday at St Joseph Funeral Home, where a parish rosary will be said at 8pm.  Memorial contributions may be made to the American Heart Association.
