Mrs. Maurice Ranschaert

February 26, 1907 – November 16, 1979

Mrs. Elizabeth Ranschaert, 72, of 738 S. Lake, died at 4:40pm Friday in St Joseph’s Hospital after a short illness.

She was born on February 26, 1907, in Hungary, she lived here 68 years.  On February 21, 1925, as Elizabeth Kovatch, she married Maurice Ranschaert in South Bend.  He survives with two sons, Robert and Maurice, both of South Bend; four grandchildren and three great grandchildren

Services will be at 10am Monday in Corpus Christi Catholic Church.  Rev. Denis Blank, the pastor, will officiate.  Burial will be in Highland Cemetery. 

Friends may call from 2 to 9pm Sunday in the St Joseph Funeral Home, where a parish rosary will be recited at 7:30pm Sunday.  Mrs. Ranschaert was a member of the Altar and Rosary Society of the church and of the Volkskring Club.
