August Ranschaert
Dec. 12, 1913 - Oct. 16, 1994

South Bend - August Ranschaert, 80, of Transitional Health Service, died at
12:45 p.m. Sunday in the nursing home. Mr. Ranschaert was born Dec. 12, 1913,
in South Bend and was a lifelong area resident. On May 17, 1947, in South 
Bend, he married Virginia Hess. She died Nov. 2, 1966. He is survived by two 
daughters, Joanne Williams of El Cajon, Calif., and Barbara Weihofen of 
Bountiful, Utah; two sons, David and Ralph, both of Indianapolis; a stepdaughter,
Mary Ann Winquist of Indianapolis; five grandchildren; two great-grandchildren;
and a brother, Morris of South Bend. He was a veteran of World War II.

Private services will take place. Private burial will be in St. Joseph 
Cemetery. McGann Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. Memorial contributions
maybe made to United Way Cancer Society of St. Joseph County.
