SOUTH BEND - Sister M. Charlotte Ramsay, CSC, 95, of Saint Mary's Annex, died at 1:30 a.m. today in her residence. Sister M. Charlotte was born Sept. 21, 1899, in Washington, D.C., as Frances Monroe Ramsay.

She entered the Congregation of the Sisters of the Holy Cross on April 4, 1918; received as a novice on Jan. 6, 1919; and professed her vows on Jan. 6, 1921. She was assigned to teaching science and taught at St. Joseph Academy, South Bend, and in Illinois and California.

Services will be at 10:30 a.m. Thursday in Church of Loretto, Saint Mary's. Burial will be at Our Lady of Peace Cemetery, Saint Mary's. Friends may call after 3:30 p.m. Wednesday in the church, where a wake will be at 7 p.m. Hickey Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. Memorial contributions may be made to Sisters of the Holy Cross Ministry with the Poor Fund, in care of Bertrand Hall, Saint Mary's, Notre Dame, IN 46556.
