Miss Irene J. Rajter, 61, of 429 S Carlisle St., died 3:45am today in Memorial Hospital after a lengthy illness.  She was employed at the Blackburn Collection Agency.

She was born March 1, 1921, in South Bend.  She lived here all her life.  She is survived by a brother, Benedict of South Bend.

Services will be at 10am Saturday at St Adalbert’s Catholic Church.  Officiating will be Rev. Eugene J. Kazmierczak, pastor.  Burial will be in St Joseph Cemetery.

Friends may call from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9pm Friday at the St Joseph Funeral Home, where a parish rosary will be recited at 7:30pm Friday.
