SOUTH BEND - Memorial services for Raymond J. Raissle, 93, of Notre Dame Avenue, formerly of St. Joseph Towers, who died at 6:30 p.m. Tuesday in Northwood Nursing Home, will be at 1:30 p.m. Thursday in Zion United Church of Christ. Cremation has taken place, with interment in Riverview Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to the church. Hickey Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

Mr. Raissle was a retired mechanical draftsman for Studebaker and Bendix corporations for many years. He was born May 8, 1902, in South Bend. Surviving are two cousins, Thomas Harbin of South Bend and Robert Harbin of Fort Wayne. He attended the University of Notre Dame and was a member of the church choir for over 71 years. He was a World War II Army veteran.
