GRANGER — Joseph Alexander Rainis, 53, of Covey Court, died Tuesday in Memorial Hospital, South Bend, of cancer. Survivors include his wife, Sandra; a daughter, Tara Rainis of Pittsburgh; a son, Adam of Granite City, Mo.; and two sisters, Diana Rainis-Hauk of Hermosa Beach, Calif., and Donna Elliott of Portland, Ore. Memorial services will be held at a later date. There will be no visitation. Welsheimer Funeral Home North is handling arrangements.
