Alex A. Rafinski

January 22, 1912 – November 24, 1994

SOUTH BEND – Alex A. Rafinski, 82, of Meridian Nursing Center-Cardinal, formerly of North Olive Street, died at 4:30am Thursday in the nursing center.  Mr. Rafinski retired in 1977 from McCaffery Lighting, in the sales department after 15 years of service. 

He was born January 22, 1912, in South Bend and was a lifelong area resident.  He is survived by several cousins, including Richard Kazmierzak of South Bend and Virginia Marshall of Battle Creek MI.  He was a veteran of World War II and member of Teamsters Local 364.

Services will be at 11am Monday in St Stanislaus Catholic Church.  Burial will be in St Joseph Cemetery.  There will be no visitation.  Kaniewski Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
