Sister M. Leonia Radecka CSFM

Word has been received of the death of Sister M. Leonia Radecka, CSFM, 75, of Des Plaines, Ill., formerly of Souht Bend, on Dec. 29 in Nazarethville Retirement Home in Des Plaines. Services were conducted in the Chapel of the Sisters of the Holy Family of Nazareth in Des Plaines. Burial was in All Saints Cemetery there. Walter L. Sojka Funeral Home, Des Plaines, handled arrangements.

She was born on Jan. 17, 1908 is South Bend, and lived here until joining the Order of the Sisters of the Holy Family of Nazareth 57 years ago. She taught schools in the Archdiocese of Chicago for 18 years, and served as superior and assistant provincial for the congregation for 22 years. Her last assignment was at St. Mary of the Nazareth Hospital Center in Chicago.

She is survived by two sisters, Mrs. Henrietta Gore, and Mrs. Helen Micinski, both of South Bend; two nieces and three nephews.
