SOUTH BEND - Eric Dieter Radandt, 40, of South Bend, passed away on Thursday, May 29th. Mr. Radandt was born on August 17, 1967, in Plymouth, Indiana, and had resided in the Michiana area his lifetime. Eric is survived by a son, Eric Daniel Radandt of Moulton, Alabama; parents, Eugene L. and Mary L. (Cole) Runyan of South Bend; sisters, Patricia L. Henson of South Bend, Penny L. Cassel of Plymouth, Indiana, and Nicole Radandt of North Liberty, Indiana; a brother, Chris Radandt of South Bend; seven uncles, Udo Radandt of North Liberty, Ed Cole, Russell Jimerson and Lonnie Jimerson, all of Walkerton, Indiana, Vance Cole and Clyde Cole, both of Mishawaka, IN, and Don Jimerson of Knox, IN. Also surviving are four aunts, Virgie Eaton, KY, Stella Mae Samuals of Knox, IN, Phyllis Pohl and Donna Gouker, both of North Liberty, IN. Eric was preceded in death by his father, Klaus D. Radandt. At the time of his passing he was employed by Wissco Irrigation Services. Mr. Radandt was an avid sports fan, loved fishing, NASCAR, horseback tiding, and playing cards. Eric was a loving father, son and nephew, and will be sadly missed by a loving family who cared deeply for him.

Visitation hours will be from 4 to 6 p.m. Monday, June 2, in Hanley & Sons "Southwest Chapel" Funeral Home, located at West Ireland Road/Indiana 23, South Bend. Funeral services will be private on Tuesday, June 3, with burial at Westlawn Cemetery, North Liberty, IN. The family requests that, in lieu of flowers, please make all memorial contributions to The Center for Hospice and Palliative Care, Inc. 111 Sunnybrook Court, South Bend, IN 46637.
