SOUTH BEND - Services for Thaddeus ''Tad'' Pytlewicz, 73, of Sunset Place, who died at 5:02 p.m. Saturday in Memorial Hospital, will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday in St. Joseph Funeral Home. Entombment will be in Resurrection Gardens Mausoleum of St. Joseph Cemetery. Friends may call from 6 to 8 p.m. today in St. Joseph Funeral Home, where a parish rosary will be said at 7 p.m. Memorial contributions may be made to Michiana Rehabilitation Institute, 615 N. Michigan St., South Bend, IN 46601, or St. Patrick's Catholic Church.

Mr. retired in 1982 from Bendix Corp. after 27 years of service. He was born Dec. 9, 1922, in South Bend. He is survived by two sisters, Valentina Jankowski of Mishawaka and Virginia Karaszewski of South Bend; and several nieces and nephews. He was an Army Air Forces veteran of World War II and a member of Associates of Memorial Hospital, Veteran of Foreign Wars Post 3194, and American Legion National Post 777.
