SOUTH BEND - Benedict J. Pytlewicz, 80, of Gladstone Avenue, died at 7:22 a.m. Sunday in St. Joseph's Medical Center of natural causes. Mr. Pytlewicz retired from Haas Wholesale.

He was born March 21, 1915, in South Bend. On Oct. 29, 1971, in Mishawaka, he married Bernice Klajbor. She survives with two sisters, Valentina Jankowski and Virginia Karaszewski, both of South Bend; a brother, Ted of South Bend; and several nieces and nephews. He was member of Our Lady of Hungary Catholic Church.

Services will be at 9:30 a.m. Tuesday in Kaniewski Funeral Home. Burial will be in Sacred Heart Cemetery. Friends may call from 5 to 7 p.m. today in the funeral home, where a parish rosary will be said at 5 p.m.
