Frank Pullman, 74, of South Bend,
Ind., passed away at 5:30 p.m. Saturday, April 10, in his
residence. Mr. Pullman was born on July 13, 1929 in South Bend,
to Michael and Emma (Nemeth) Pullman. He retired on April
8, 1987 from Main Electric, where he was employed for 47 years as
an electric motor repairman.
On Sept. 5, 1953, he married Joan Kazmierski,
who passed away on Jan. 15, 1988. Then on Nov. 10, 1990, he
married Ina Hopper Lauver, who survives. Also surviving is
his stepdaughter, Patricia A. Kelley of South Bend; his
stepson, David (Shirley) Lauver of South Bend; his three
grandchildren, Keith David Lauver, Craig Michael Lauver, and
Janice Dickenson; his two great-grandchildren, Kaitlin
Kelly and Zachary Dickenson; his four sisters, Josephine Pullman
of South Bend, Irene (Michael) Bickel of South Bend,
Margaret (Gene) Hodges of Phoenix, Ariz., and Mary
Drummond of Huntington Beach, Calif.; and by his brother,
John Pullman of South Bend.
Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m.
Friday, April 16, in the Kaniewski Funeral Home, 3545 N. Bendix
Drive. Burial will follow at Highland Cemetery, where members of
the American Legion Pulaski Post #357 will conduct military
services. Friends may call from 4 until 8 p.m. Thursday, April
15, in the funeral home.
Mr. Pullman was a member of St. Stanislaus
Parish. He was a Korean War veteran, a lifetime member of the
American Legion Pulaski Post #357, and a honorary lifetime member
of FOP #36.
