Frances M. Pullman

SOUTH BEND - Frances M. Pullman, 74,
residing on South 28th Street, South Bend, Ind., passed away at
7:45 a.m. on Sunday, Sept. 13, in St. Joseph Medical Center,
South Bend. Mrs. Pullman was born on Jan. 29, 1924, in South
Bend, to the late Frank and Gertrude Richardson Thomson,
and had remained a lifelong resident of this community.
On Oct. 3, 1942, in South Bend, she married
John E. Pullman, who survives. She is also survived by two
daughters, Frances Groves of Huntsville, Texas, and Jean Marchal
of Mishawaka, Ind.; four grandchildren, Christopher Treash,
Allen Treash, Cheryl Groves and Deborah Dennis; five
great-grandchildren; a sister, Ann Carpenter of South
Bend; and by a brother, Walter Thomson of Elkhart, Ind.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be at 10
a.m. today in St. Anthony de Padua Catholic Church. Rev. Joseph
Gaughan will officiate. Burial will follow at Chapel Hill
Memorial Gardens, Osceola, Ind.
Friends called from 4 to 8 p.m. on Monday in
the Palmer Funeral Home, 2528 Mishawaka Ave., South Bend where a
Parish Rosary was said at 5 p.m. Monday. Mrs. Pullman was a
member of St. Anthony's Church. Contributions in her memory may
be offered to the American Diabetes Association or the American
Heart Association.
