SOUTH BEND - Anthony A. Pullman, 76,
of 809 S. Gladstone Ave., died about 11 p.m. Saturday in his home
after an illness. Mr. Pullman retired in 1983 from South Bend
Drug Co. He was born July 6, 1918, in South Bend and was a
lifelong area resident.
On July 27, 1946, in South Bend, he married
Janice Harlon. She died in 1974. He is survived by two
daughters, Toni Horrall of Elkhart and Nancy Pullman of
South Bend; four sons, Ronald J. of Granger, Terry of American
Samoa, David of Chicago and Robert of Huntsville, Ala.; nine
grandchildren; four sisters, Mary Drummond of Huntington
Beach, Calif., Margaret Hodges of Phoenix, Ariz., and
Josephine Pullman and Irene Bickel, both of South Bend;
and two brothers, John and Frank, both of South Bend. He was a
veteran of World War II.
Services will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday in St.
Joseph Funeral Home. Burial will be in St. Joseph Valley Memorial
Park, Granger. Friends may call from 2 to 8 p.m. Tuesday in the
funeral home.
