Victoria M. Przestwor

December 18, 1923 – January 3, 2000

Victoria M. Przestwor, 76, formerly of South Meade Street, South Bend IN, died at 10:15am Monday, January 3, in the St Joseph Care Center.

She was born on December 18, 1923, in South Bend, and was a lifelong area resident.  In 1952, as Victoria Orlowski, she married Frank J. Przestwor, who preceded her in death on November 1, 1977.  She was also preceded in death by her parents, George and Catherine (Wielgos) Orlowski; and by two brothers, Walter and John Orlowski.

She is survived by a sister, Evelyn Janowiak of South Bend; a brother, Richard Orlowski of South Bend; and by three nieces, two nephews, one great niece and seven great nephews.

Mrs. Przestwor was a member of St. Adalbert Catholic Church, Harvest House and Polish National Alliance Group #83.

Family and friends may call from 4 to 8pm on Wednesday, January 5, in the St Joseph Funeral Home, 824 S. Mayflower Road, where a Rosary will be said at 5pm.  Services will be at 11am on Thursday, January 6, in St Adalbert Catholic Church where she was a member.  Burial will be in the St Joseph Cemetery.
