SOUTH BEND — Michael E. Prister Sr., 74, of Myrtle Road, died Sunday in Memorial Hospital. Survivors include his wife, Mary A. (Halasz); three sons, Patrick of Eugene, Ore., and Michael Jr. and Timothy, both of South Bend; a sister, Madeleine Sophia of Notre Dame; and a brother, John Priester of North Liberty. Services will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday in St. Mary of the Assumption Catholic Church. Friends may call from 4 to 8 p.m. today in St. Joseph Funeral Home, 824 S. Mayflower Road, where a rosary will be said at 7:30 p.m.
