SOUTH BEND - Mary Priskosovich, 89,
of Ironwood Health & Rehabilitation Center, formerly of 1822
S. William St., died at 6:30 a.m. Sunday in the nursing home.
Mrs. Priskosovich was born June 26, 1905, in Geresdorf, Austria,
and lived in South Bend since 1921, coming from Austria.
On Aug. 18, 1923, in South Bend, as Mary Barkovich,
she married Anton Priskosovich. He died May 4, 1981. She is
survived by four sons, Anthony, William, Rudolph and Robert, all
of South Bend; seven grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren;
four sisters, Anna Tompos, Joan Lehman, Catherine Horth
and Pauline Finnie, all of South Bend; and a brother, Rudy
Barkovich of San Diego. Three sons, Matthew, Stephen and Anton,
all preceded her in death. She was a member of St. Anthony
Society Ladies Auxiliary.
Services will be at 10 a.m. Saturday in Our
Lady of Hungary Catholic Church. Burial will be in Sacred Heart
Cemetery. Friends may call from 2 to 8 p.m. Friday in Zahoran
Funeral Home, where a rosary will be said at 3 p.m. by St.
Anthony Society Ladies Auxiliary.
