Edward Prentkowski, 50, of Hamtramck, Mich., who was a native of South Bend, died Monday at Henry Ford Hospital, Detroit.  He was an employee of the Chrysler Corp.  He was born May 27, 1919, in South Bend.  His widow, the former Clara Danielowicz, survives, with his mother, Mrs. Helen Prentkowski of South Bend; two sons, Edward Jr. of Buchanan, Mich., and Phillip of Hamtramck; two daughters, Mrs. Rita Bush and Miss Jessica Prentkowski, both of Buchanan; two grandchildren; and a sister, Mrs. Louise White of South Bend.  Friends may call from 7 to 9 p.m. Wednesday and 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. Thursday in the St. Joseph Funeral Home.  Services will be held at 10 a.m. Friday in St. Stanislaus Catholic Church, with Rev. Casimir Grabarz, officiating.
