MISHAWAKA - Dennis L. Praklet, 43, of Buckeye Road, died at 3 a.m., Friday, at Lakeland Medical Center, Niles, Mich. Mr. Praklet was born on Jan. 27, 1953, in South Bend, and was a lifelong area resident.

On June 4, 1983, in South Bend, he married Linda Kolczynski. She survives with his mother, Doris Bennett of Escondido, Calif.; two sons, Christopher and Cory Praklet, at home; and a brother, David Praklet of Pleasanton, Calif.

Mr. Praklet was a truck driver for Charles McDonald Trucking. He was a peacetime veteran serving with the U.S. Army.

Friends may call from 1 to 7 p.m., Tuesday, Oct. 22, at the St. Joseph Funeral Home, 824 S. Mayflower Rd., South Bend. Private graveside services will be held Wednesday at Southlawn Cemetery, South Bend. Memorial contributions may be made to the St. Joseph Health Center, 305-307 S. Chapin St., South Bend, IN 46601.
