James A. Pozzi

MISHAWAKA - James A. Pozzi, 27, of Medford Lane, died at 9:36 a.m. Wednesday in St. Joseph Hospital. Dr. Michael J. O'Connell, county deputy coroner, ruled the death a suicide.

Mr. Pozzi was employed by Indiana Michigan Power Co., South Bend.

He was born June 26, 1966, in South Bend, and was a lifelong area resident. He is survived by his parents, Joan and Thomas Pozzi of Mishawaka; a sister, Maria Pozzi of Mishawaka; a brother, Matthew of Mishawaka; and a paternal grandmother, Orretta Pozzi of Mishawaka.

He was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church, Gold's Gym, and was a graduate of Mishawaka High School and Purdue University, West Lafayette.

Services will be at 10 a.m. Saturday in St. Joseph Catholic Church.

Burial will be in Fairview Cemetery.

Friends may call from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Friday in Thallemer-Goethals Funeral Home, where a parish rosary will be said at 3 p.m.
