Sister Mary Aidan CSC, 90, died ealy this
morning in St. Mary’s Convent. She was born April 28, 1880
in Outer Cove, Newfoundland. In June 1901 she entered the
Congregation of the Sisters of the Holy Cross; she received the
habit in December of the same year; and made her profession of
vows Dec. 19, 1903. She was housekeeper in the convents in
Logansport, LaPorte and Crawfordsville, before being assigned to
St. Mary’s Convent.
Services will be held in the Church of Our Lady of Loretto Thursday, with burial in Our Lady of Peace Cemetery.
