Edward Francis Polizzotto, 91, of Maple Lane, died Thursday afternoon, June 15, in Hospice House. Edward retired from the Bendix Corporation in 1978 after many years. He was born September 4, 1914, in Gary, Indiana, to Martin and Helen (Elard) Polizzotto, who preceded him in death along with his three sisters and five brothers.

On May 16, 1936, he married Albena J. Jankouskas, who died in 1993. Surviving are a son, Daniel D. (Rosemary) Polizzotto of South Bend; three grandchildren, Tony, Amy and Nick.

Services will be held at 11 a.m. Monday, June 19, in the HICKEY Funeral Homes, 17131 Cleveland Road, South Bend. Entombment will follow at St. Joseph Valley Memorial Park in Granger. Friends may call from 10 a.m. until services Monday in the funeral home.
