MISHAWAKA - Jeannette Poelvoorde, 84, passed away at home on
December 18th. Jeanette was born on December 24, 1924, in
Mishawaka, IN, to Camiel and Cyrilla (Dhuivetter) Bracke. She was
preceded in death by her parents. On April 19, 1947, at St. Bavo
Catholic Church, Mishawaka, as the former Jeannette Bracke, she
married Clement C. Poelvoorde, who passed away on January 7,
1994. Surviving are two daughters, Suzanne (Allen) Schlemmer and
Beth Ann (Thomas) Wojciechowski, and a sister, Elsie De Bruyne,
all of Mishawaka; six grandchildren, Amy Berger, Seth
Wojciechowski, Carrie Barbour, Renee Mc Collough, Stacy Jackey
and Michele Hoppers; and seven great-grandchildren, Cole, Carly,
Thomas, Ava, Alexis, Zoe and Noah. Jeannette was a lifelong area
resident. She worked for Uniroyal and was co-owner of K&P
Products, Inc., for 46 years. She was a member of St. Bavo
Catholic Church, the Ladies Auxiliary at the Elks and the BK
Club. Visitation for family and friends will be on Monday,
December 21, in Hahn Funeral Home, 505 W. 8th Street, Mishawaka,
from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m., with a Rosary at 3:30 p.m. A Mass of
Christian Burial will be held at 10:00 a.m. Tuesday, December 22,
in St. Bavo Catholic Church, with Rev Jim Bracke, CSC, and Rev.
Barry England officiating. Entombment will follow in Fairview
Cemetery Mausoleum, Mishawaka. In lieu of flowers, the family
requests that memorial contributions be made to St. Bavo School,
513 W. 7th Street, Mishawaka, IN 46544; or to the Center for
Hospice and Palliative Care, 111 Sunnybrook Court, South Bend, IN
46637. I'm there Inside Your Heart. Right now I'm in a
different place, and though we seem apart, I'm closer than I ever
was...I'm there inside your heart. I'm with you when you greet
each day and while the sun shines bright, I'm there to share the
sunsets, too... I'm with you every night. I'm with you when the
times are good to share a laugh or two, and if a tear should
start to fall... I'll still be there for you. And when that day
arrives that we no longer are apart, I'll smile and hold you
