Elizabeth M. Poehlman, 79, of West
5th Street, Mishawaka, Ind., passed away Wednesday, July 28,
1999, at 12:25 P.M. in St. Joseph Hospital, Mishawaka, after an
illness. Mrs. Poehlman was born on September 7, 1919, in
Watervliet, MI. as the daughter of the late Judd and Inez (Reed)
Wooden. Mrs. Poehlman is survived by three daughters,
Jessica Hummel of Mishawaka, Norma Gendron of Paint
Lake, MI. and Mary Jo Peak of Ruskin, FL. One son, Felix Esarey
of Niles, MI. Two stepdaughters, Dawn Givens of Elkhart,
IN. and Pam Stains of Mishawaka. Thirteen grandchildren,
fourteen great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren.
Mrs. Poehlman was employed by Morris Inn at the University of
Notre Dame for thirty years and retired in 1990.
Funeral services will be Saturday, July 31st, at 10 A.M. in the Hahn Funeral Home, 505 W. 8th Street, Mishawaka, with Rev. Sheldon Grame officiating. Graveside services will be at 12:30 P.M. Michigan Time Saturday in Oak Ridge Cemetery, Buchanan, MI. Friends may call Friday, July 30th, from 3:00 to 7:00 P.M. in the funeral home.
