SOUTH BEND -- Rosalie K. Plencner, 76, of West Huron Street, died at 10:12 a.m. Tuesday in St. Joseph's Medical Center. Mrs. Plencner retired from RACO Inc. after 29 years of service. She was born July 11, 1915 in South Bend and was a life-long area resident.

On Sept. 10, 1938, in South Bend, as Rosalie K. Dembinski, she married Sylvester J. Plencner. He survives with a daughter, Cathy Thompson of Bremen; a son, Ronald of Mishawaka; three grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren. She was a member of Hoosier Grandmothers Club, Felician Sisters Auxiliary, and Rosary Society and Harvest House of St. Adalbert's Catholic Church.

Services will be at 9 a.m. Friday in the church. Entombment will be in Resurrection Gardens Mausoleum of St. Joseph Cemetery. Friends may call from 2 to 9 p.m. Thursday in Kaniewski & Sons Funeral home, where Harvest House will say the rosary at 3 p.m. and a parish rosary will be said at 7 p.m.
