Edward M. Platts: (South Bend Tribune 10/10/1987)
Edward M. Platts, 64, of Sebring, Fla., formerly of South Bend,
died Thursday at Palm Health Care Center in Sebring. Mr. Platts
was a saleman for Bendix Allied Corp. here for 36 years, retiring
in 1981. He was a resident of Sebring for six years. He is
survived by his wife, Myrene; a daughter, Shelley Grubbs, of
Three Rivers; a son David of Danville, Ind.; a sister, Doris
Hullinger of South Bend; and six grandchildren. Stephenson-Nelson
Funeral Home, Sebring, is handling arrangements. A memorial
service will be Monday in Sebring. He was a veteran of World War
II and a member of the First Presbyterian Church. Memorial
contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society or the
First Presbyterian Church of Avon Park, Fla. Edward M.

PLATTS Memorial services for Edward M. Platts, 64, of
Sebring, Fla., formerly of South Bend, who died Thursday in Palm
Health Care Center, Sebring, will be at 3 p.m. Thursday in
Portage Chapel of Riverview Cemetery. Entombment will be in
Riverview Mausoleum, Portage extension. Memorial contributions
may be made to Memorial Presbyterian Church or the American
Cancer Society.
