MISHAWAKA - Larry Dean Pierce, 65, passed away at 11 a.m. Wednesday his home in Mishawaka, Indiana. Larry was born on July 8, 1944, in Detroit, Michigan, to the late William and Luella (Eagle) Pierce. He was also preceded in death by one half brother. Larry was formerly employed as a tool-and-die maker at Ford Motor Company in Detroit and Bendix in South Bend. He was a licensed pilot and enjoyed flying. He leaves behind to cherish his memory two sons, Stephen J. (Erin) Pierce of Mishawaka, IN, and Brian W. (Shelby) Pierce of Portage, MI; daughter, Kimberly K. Bennett of South Bend, IN; grandchildren, Samuel, Anna and William Pierce; brother, Ronald Pierce of Newport, MI, and half brother, Brad "Buddy" Toungett of Allen Park, MI. A private family memorial service will be held at a later date. Elkhart Cremation Services is assisting the family with arrangements.
