Ila M. Pierce, 94, of South Bend, died at 8:15 p.m. Wednesday November 29, in Memorial Hospital.

She was born in South Bend on November 4, 1912, to Schuyler and Zella (VanDerbeck) Morris who preceded her in death.

Ila married Glenn L. Pierce in Mishawaka on October 5, 1974. She is survived by her husband; a daughter, Grace (Gene) Curtis of South Bend; a grandson, Larry (Diana) Curtis of Plymouth; one great-grandson, Brandon Curtis; and a great-granddaughter Bethany Curtis, both of Plymouth; and a step-son, Tom (Diane) Pierce of South Bend. She was a self-employed public accountant, and a member of Albright United Methodist Church for over sixty years.

Friends may call from 12 to 2 p.m. Saturday December 2, in Bubb Funeral Chapel, 3910 N. Main St., where funeral services will be conducted at 2 p.m., with Rev. Dennis Ingle, Sr. officiating. Burial will follow in Riverview Cemetery, South Bend. Memorial contributions may be made to Albright United Methodist Church, 504 W. Mishawaka Av., Mishawaka, Indiana or to Pet Refuge.
