SOUTH BEND – Lorraine I. Piechocki, 81, died Wednesday in Memorial Hospital.  Survivors include her husband, Theodore, children, Dennis (Rachel) Piechocki of Merrillville, Debbie (John) Goodrich of Koontz Lake, Pam (Darryl) Biggs of North Liberty, Mike Piechocki and Dale (Susie) Piechocki, both of South Bend, and Minnie (Tom) Nelson of Highland IN.  There will be no services.  Burial will be at St Joseph Cemetery, South Bend, at a later date.  St Joseph Funeral Home-Mayflower Chapel, is handling arrangements.

SOUTH BEND – Lorraine I. Piechocki, 81, passed away on Wednesday, October 10, in Memorial Hospital.  Lorraine was born on June 6, 1926, in South Bend, to the late Casimir and Mary (Lewandowski) Bemtkowski.  She was also preceded in death by two sisters, Rose Kalka and Pat Skierkowski, and by her grandson, Damon Biggs.

On June 5, 1948, she married Theodore Piechocki in South Bend.  He survives along with their children, Dennis (Rachel) Piechocki of Merrillville IN; Debbie (John) Goodrich of Koontz Lake; Pam (Darryl) Biggs of North Liberty; Mike Piechocki of South Bend; Dale (Susie) Piechocki of South Bend and Minnie (Tom) Nelson of Highland IN; eight grandchildren, Todd Piechocki, Johnny & Rob Goodrich, David & Darren Biggs, Kristi Fisher, Staci Piechocki and Kyle Nelson; nine great grandchildren; two sisters, Josephine (Ray) Dembinski of South Bend and Evelyn (Leo) Lyczynski of South Bend; and a brother, Chester (Irene) Bentkowski.  She always put her kids and grandchildren before anyone else.  We love you Peaches.

Committal service will be at 9am Friday, October 19, at St Joseph Cemetery, South Bend.  St Joseph Funeral Home, 824 S Mayflower Road, is assisting the family.  Memorial contributions may be made to the donor’s choice.
